Testimony at the Reno Court of Inquiry, January 13, 1879
[edit]Captain T.M. Mc Dougall, 7th Cavalry was the 20th witness called during the Court of Inquiry for Marcus A. Reno, convened on January 13, 1879.[1] His testimony starts on page 470 of the official record, and he was recalled again for testimony which started on page 494 of the official record.
commanding the rear guard in rear of pack train. 470. Ordered to take charge of the pack train and act as a rear guard. 470. On divide between Rosebud and Little Big Horn. 470-471. Company B had 45 men, with about 80 men belonging to the pack train and 5 to 6 civilian packers. 471. Bothered with straggling mules. 471.
